Role Summary
The Packaging and Brand Designer is responsible for creating and managing packaging designs, instruction manuals, and brand guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality brand representation. This role coordinates with translation providers, collaborates with internal teams to ensure visual accuracy, and oversees print production processes. Acting as the project lead for brand management system planning and execution, the designer works closely with cross-functional teams to meet business and regulatory requirements while staying updated on industry trends and design innovations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop packaging concepts for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and market trends.
Incorporate finalized translated texts by coordinating with translation service providers, ensuring accurate typesetting in packaging and manuals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the correctness and consistency of symbols and icons used on packaging and manuals.
Monitor and track packaging project timelines to ensure timely delivery.
Create and update instruction manuals and user guides, ensuring clarity, visual appeal, and compliance with company standards.
Enhance and maintain brand guidelines, including logos, color palettes, typography, and imagery, to support consistent branding across all touchpoints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., category, quality assurance, sustainability) to ensure design solutions meet business and regulatory needs.
Design and create print-ready and digital files for production, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Prepare, release and review print proofs and die-cut files; check colour consistency and accuracy against brand standards.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project requirements.
Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative design ideas and solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in graphic design, packaging, and branding.

Skills and Qualifications
Education & experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
Proven experience in packaging design, instruction manual development, and brand guideline creation.
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in print and digital design.
Solid experience in packaging materials, printing techniques, and manufacturing processes (particularly printing aspects).
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
Experience working with international brands and markets (preferably with exposure to European and Asian markets).
3+ years of professional graphic design experience preferred.
General skills
Design Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with other design tools.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve design objectives.
Adaptability: Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing design trends and business needs.
Attention to Detail: Ensure high-quality output and consistency across all design materials.
Creative Problem-Solving: Generate innovative design solutions that align with business goals.
Familiarity with AI design tools such as Midjourney is a plus.
